I've been developing some audio reacting, live controlled imaging software.
I started working on it for my live performances, to have a vj-like software, but also to quickly generate visuals for all puropuses: promos, music videos, simple imagery and so on.
Visuals can be controlled via midi controller, midi clips or via audio analysis (amplitude and frequency spectrum, even of each audio track taken singularly).
This way, in a live set situation, it means that video can be controlled and/or generated while making music, so that the dj/performer can also be a vj.
I found this program quite handy also to quickly generate the classic "audio reactive animation music video" you see in lots of music YouTube channels.
You just tweak some knobs, find the shape you like, then hit play and record the animation, and the video is done.
This way I'm producing stuff for Music Link Channel
Here's a collection of some videos made with this method.
