This is something completely different.
It happened that about one year and a half ago, I fell into vaporwave/retrowave music. At the same time, I resurrected my old Bontempi System 5 toy keaboard.
The math here was easy: vaporwave influences + shitty-sounding toy keyboard = cheesy 80-90s sounding music.
So I quicly made 2 drafts of sad, yet catchy tunes. But I didn't know what to do with them.
But, just a few days before Christmas 2016, since they were too catchy to be forgotten, I decided it was cool to release them as a christmas present.
I called the almighty Neon.forest to make an exponentially sad re-work, and let L V N A
design the cover art.
The result is a solid, 3 tracks EP, inspired by an ipothetical 80s-B-movie-anti-hero which is always on the run, driving away from problems, drifting inbetween feels. Always seeking something, without having time to connect with anybody else except with himself and his car.
As usual, released via Ghost.City Collective
